Our note on AI
We use AI to analyze your profile and write recommendations. Here is a plain-English account of what that means.
What AI we use
Your profile data is processed by OpenAI's GPT models via their API. We send your profile sections — headline, about, experience, education, and skills — and ask the model to score, analyze, and suggest improvements based on your stated goal.
What the AI does well
- Identifying patterns that strong LinkedIn profiles share.
- Rewriting copy to be more specific, outcome-focused, and keyword-rich.
- Spotting missing elements that reduce your discoverability.
- Generating goal-aligned suggestions in seconds rather than hours.
What the AI cannot do
- Guarantee outcomes. A better profile increases your chances of being found and contacted — it does not guarantee job offers, clients, or followers.
- Verify facts. We trust what you share. If your profile has inaccuracies, our analysis reflects those inaccuracies. We cannot check whether your credentials or experience are accurate.
- Replace your judgment. Every suggestion is a starting point. You know your story, goals, and audience better than any model does. Review everything before applying it to your profile.
Your data and model training
Per our agreement with OpenAI, data submitted through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models. Your profile data is used only to generate your analysis in that session.
Human oversight
All suggestions are presented to you for review. Nothing is applied to your LinkedIn profile automatically. You are always in control of what changes, if any, you make.
Accuracy and feedback
If a recommendation feels wrong or off-brand, ignore it. If you see something consistently unhelpful, we want to know: hi@topsway.ai.
